ACUTE CARE SPRING SYMPOSIUM

Our program is designed for nurses who care for high-acuity patients.  It will enhance the professional nurse's knowledge of ever-changing world of acute care nursing. We welcome nurses from areas outside of the traditional critical care setting such as ED, PACU, DOU/Tele, PCU, and Step-down units.

• Your confirmation email is your receipt: please keep it on file.
• Your CE certificate will be provided within two weeks of the required completion of the program evaluation. It is your proof of attendance.
• Online registration only via this website.
• The classroom is air-conditioned. We recommend layered clothing. Parking is on-site and is free of charge.
• Fees include: continental breakfast, lunch, snacks, and vendor exhibits.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

• Refunds are issued, less a $25.00 processing fee if cancellations are received before April 8, 2026.
• We reserve the right to make necessary changes to the agenda and to cancel the program by phone or email no later than 3 business days prior to the program.

Donation & Community Outreach

• SFV-AACN has been supporting the San Fernando Valley Food Bank through member donations at our events.
• Please consider bringing items such as canned food, any nonperishable items, etc. for an EXTRA raffle ticket. 

 Continuing Education Credit

• 6.0 CEs will be provided for full-day attendance.
• To obtain CEs, all lectures must be attended. Partial CEs cannot be granted, per the California Board of Registered Nursing.

Retired Nurses & Student Nurses

• There are special reduced-price tickets for Retired RNs; please note that no CEs will be granted for these tickets. Please register on this website.

Attendance and CE Certification:

• To assure you are credited for attendance, please sign in at the symposium with the same name that you used to register.
• Upon completion of the symposium and submission of the post-test, CEs will be granted to attendees.
• Certificates will be mailed out no later than two weeks after program completion.
